Refund, cancellation and complaints

We want giving to World Meditation Day and World Meditation Foundation to be simple and trustworthy. This page explains, in plain English, how refunds, cancellations and complaints work.

3.1 Donations are generally final

Donations are generally final, subject to the refund circumstances below and any applicable rights. We consider requests individually.

3.2 When we will consider a refund

We will consider a refund if:

• You were charged in error — for example, a duplicate charge or the wrong amount;
• The transaction was unauthorized or fraudulent; or
• A technical fault on our website or checkout caused an incorrect charge.

Please contact info@un-worldmeditationday.org promptly, preferably within 14 days of the transaction, with your transaction reference. This request period does not limit any rights that apply under law.

3.3 Monthly (recurring) gifts

To cancel a recurring gift, contact info@un-worldmeditationday.org. Where the payment service provides a cancellation facility, you may also use it. We will confirm how cancellation affects the next scheduled payment. Cancellation of future payments does not automatically refund payments already made.

3.4 How refunds are processed

We arrange approved refunds through the applicable payment service, normally to the original payment method where supported. Processing time depends on the payment method and provider. We will explain the expected timing when confirming the refund.

3.5 Complaints

If anything about your donation, our website or our organization falls short of what you expect, please tell us:

Contact us at info@un-worldmeditationday.org. We aim to acknowledge your message and give a full response as promptly as possible, typically within two weeks.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may ask for your complaint to be reviewed by our senior leadership.

This complaints process does not limit your right to contact a competent authority or use other remedies available to you.
